Editor in Chief
Duties and responsibilities

- Defines the journal’s aims, scope, policies, and editorial coverage.
- Assign associate editors in consultation with the editorial board and the advisory board
- Delegates editorial duties to associate and managing editors
- Oversees procedures for manuscript submission, acceptance, release, and publication, as well as the criteria for review and referee of papers.
- Evaluates the submitted manuscript if it complies with the journal scope. If it could comply with the scope, he/she will send it back to the author. If it fits with the scope, the Editor-in-chief sends to the corresponding associate editor.
- Provides final decision on manuscript acceptance or rejection
- Resolves conflict of interest among reviewers, editors, and authors
- Implements policy decisions approved by the editorial board and the advisory board
- Confirms confidentiality and proper review process of submitted manuscripts
- Follows up the overall quality of the journal
- Prepares an annual report for the advisory board and the college academic council describing the journal status and recommendations for improvement.
- Approves the minutes of the annual board meeting each year.
- Working with Associate Editors to determine future issue topics, content, and contributors
