By, the academic year, 2014 EC, the university had 6 colleges and 1 school with 46 departments and 13 graduate programs. During 2015 academic year, there were more than 12,000 students and a total of 330 graduate students in 13 specializations. There are more than 144 staff (14 PhD holders & 10 assistant Professors) and currently with more than 13 graduate (MA and MSc) programs in four colleges (College of Social sciences and Humanities, College of Business and Economics, College of Education and Behavioral Sciences and School of Law) in which the journal scope covers. The number of senior staff is even increasing from time to time and the numbers of postgraduate programs are also increasing implying the need to launch a journal to document and disseminate scholarly outputs for its users. In newly established universities, most research outputs are applied researches which are contextually interpreted for feasibility and interpretation. Applied research outputs become more efficacious and more scalable in the setting where the investigations have been conducted. These outputs need to be documented and communicated to local stake holders for ease of transforming into community services. Thus, there is a need to launch a new journal to document and distribute such outputs to promote local usability.
